On April 23 around 5:48 p.m., a fire at 2129 Briarwood Drive in Waldorf was discovered by a passerby, who noticed the fire on the back side of the house, according to the state fire marshal’s office. The homeowners were not at home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries as a result of the fire. Structural losses were valued at $50,000 and the content losses at $2,000.
