The victim was taken to a trauma center and a masked male suspect was seen leaving the area in a black SUV. The second incident was an early morning fire at Jersey Mike's Subs in Dunkirk. The fire was detected by an automatic fire alarm and was contained to a small area thanks to the sprinkler system.

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – In a developing investigation, deputies from the Calvert County Patrol Bureau responded to a report of a shooting on Sark Court early Friday morning. At approximately 7:05 a.m., on December 1, 2023, police and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and discovered a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his upper body.

CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. – A 71-year-old woman was injured in a rollover crash early morning on November 28, 2023, after attempting to avoid a deer on Dubois Road. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the 9500 block of Dubois Road at approximately 5:29 a.m. in response to a serious single motor vehicle accident. According to a caller, she was trying to avoid a deer and overturned.

A Thomas Stone High School student in Maryland is facing charges and school disciplinary action after suspected cannabis was found in their book bag on November 28. A school administrator discovered the substance, which was then recovered by the school resource officer.

Patrol officers apprehend juvenile armed with a firearm and making threats: On November 16 at 5:54 p.m., officers responded to the area of Post Office Road and Macclesfield Court in Waldorf for the report of a teenager who pointed a firearm toward occupants of a car. A preliminary investigation showed the victims were turning onto Macclesfield Court when the suspect walked in front of their vehicle. The victims honked the car horn to alert the teen at which point the teen pulled out a firearm and pointed it at the victims. Responding officers observed the suspect in the area and were able to safely take him into custody. A loaded firearm, with no serial number, was recovered from the suspect’s waistband. The suspect, age 16, was charged as an adult with first-degree assault, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm on a person, and other related charges. Cpl.
