MARYLAND- Work to improve roadways in four Maryland counties is expected to get underway in April. The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration says they will perform asphalt patching to improve multiple highways in Dorchester, Somerset, Worcester and Wicomico counties. A homicide investigation is underway after the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of shots fired at a Mechanicsville parking lot early Friday morning. The victim, identified as 18-year-old Isiaih Alexander Woodland from Lexington Park, was found dead from gunshot wounds.

Out of all the people who decide to go to college, less than 7% play a varsity sport, according to Athletic Scholarship Stats. At Madison alone, 31 seniors have committed and out of that number, 19 attended signing day on Nov 9 2022 to sign their letter of intent. MARYLAND - The Dorchester County, Caroline County, and Kent County Emergency Medical Services all reported phone issues at their 9-1-1 Call Centers Monday afternoon. Caroline County EMS said in a Facebook post around 4:30pm the interruptions were due to a regional fiber issue with Verizon that has been resolved.
