Chesapeake Beach Residents to Experience Changes in FY24 Sewer Rates; Water Rates Remain Unchanged
The Town of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, will issue its quarterly water and sewer bills on October 13, 2023. There will be a change in the FY24 sewer rate structure. A $50 sewer fixed fee per equivalent dwelling unit (EDU) is now in place. This fee was adopted during the FY24 Utility Fund budget process. It will apply to all sewer accounts in future quarters. However, the fixed fee for water service and the water/sewer variable rates will not change. Those who only use Town water services will not see a change in their bill.
