A 22-year-old Maryland man was killed Thursday in a Durham shooting. Myles Amadi Gresham, 22, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was shot on Rose Garden Lane, according to police. Around 3:30 p.m., officers with the Durham Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 11000 block of Rose Garden Lane. Officers discovered a vehicle had crashed into two other parked, unoccupied vehicles.

Sadiqq Abdullah was recently named the new senior pastor at South Potomac Church in White Plains. Since joining the church in 2009, he has served in different capacities and joined the pastoral staff in 2016. He was selected by the South Potomac Church Board of Elders, which included seven people, in conjunction with a pastoral search committee.
