On May 22, 2023, at 6:56 a.m., Calvert County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the Prince Frederick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership located at 265 S Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick, for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed sometime between 3 a.m.– 4 a.m., unknown suspect (s) stole a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee from within the dealership’s garage. The estimated value of stolen property is $89,000.00.

CALVERT COUNTY, MD – Over the course of the week spanning May 22 – May 28, 2023, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office reported a series of incidents, ranging from vehicle theft to arrests for various offences. The deputies received 1,779 calls for service during this period. On the morning of Monday, May 22, at 6:56 a.m., deputies responded to a reported theft at the Prince Frederick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Dealership located at 265 S Solomons Island Road in Prince Frederick. Three shot, one dead in Brandywine
BRANDYWINE, MD – A man was fatally shot Wednesday night in Brandywine. The victim was identified as Joe Louis Washington, a 32-year-old local resident. On the evening of Wednesday, around 8:45 pm, Seat Pleasant Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 6000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway. On arrival, they found Mr. Washington outside with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was declared dead shortly afterwards. Two additional men, also victims of gunshot wounds, arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
