The perfect season for Stephen Decatur got its perfect ending, as the Seahawks (14-0) defeated Huntingtown (10-3) 21-13 to grab the MPSSAA Class 2A State Championship. It was another close one for the Seahawks at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium, as they jumped out to a 14-0 lead and held off a Huntingtown second-half comeback to bring home Decatur's first football state championship. Decatur's stars continued to show out like they have all year, with Brycen Coleman, Trybe Wise and Careen Bolden making big plays on offense throughout the game. And when they needed it, their defense got big stops in the fourth quarter to close out the historic win.
