SHARON - New documents shared with 21 News show that the Pennsylvania Department of Health has revoked Sharon Regional Medical Center's license and ordered its closure. An order sent from the department to Tenor Health Foundation Sharon LLC, doing business as Sharon Regional Medical Center, on Wednesday directed the facility's closure and the revocation of its license, effective Nov. 17.

Incumbents appear to retain seats in Beaver County's state races

In addition to the U.S. House race in District 17 , Beaver County voters also had the chance Nov. 3 to decide three state House races and one state Senate race. In unofficial results, it appears the incumbents held off their opponents in each race. In District 14, which includes portions of northern Beaver County such as Beaver Falls and Chippewa Township, incumbent Republican Roman Kozak held off Democratic challenger Jake Young by a vote of 14,910 to 10,806 in unofficial results. This would be Kozak's second two-year term. He is a 2011 graduate of Geneva College and is a former high school history and social studies teacher. In District 15, which includes Beaver, Republican incumbent Josh Kail appears to be the victor against Democratic challenger Sydney Speicher by a vote of 11,741 to 7,919 in unofficial results. This will be Kail's fourth two-year term. He is an attorney who graduated from Geneva College in 2008. In District 16, which includes parts of southern and central Beaver County including Ambridge, Aliquippa and Center Township, Democratic incumbent Rob Matzie beat Republican challenger and local businessman John Costanza by a vote of 14,528 to 9,410 in unofficial results.
