A decision to rename Monk Botanical Gardens has sparked enormous public outrage, with hundreds of people signing a petition that asks for reconsideration. Monk Botanical Gardens will become Wausau Botanic Gardens, according to a news release issued Friday. The petition to reverse that decision, launched by Kolton Heldt, garnered more than 360 signatures in a 24-hour span.
California pizza chain expands into Wisconsin with plans for Green Bay restaurant
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - California-based Mountain Mike’s Pizza is expanding into the Midwest with plans to open a restaurant in Green Bay later this year.
