We are proud name is this weeks Rick and Cutter show Weenie of the Week…23-year-old Deon Howard, who was arrested in Green Bay after a traffic stop Sunday morning. Howard had been on the run from police since late January when he stole a van with a body in back from a funeral home in Rockford, Illinois. The van, absent, the stolen body, was found the following day. The body was finally located a day later about 2 miles from where it was stolen.

Suspect in CA Cold Case Has WI Connections
A suspect in the cold case murder of a man from Cypress is in custody. Sixty-three-year-old Kelvin Keith Emmons from De Pere, Wisconsin, was arrested earlier this month, charged with murder in the 1988 death of Angel Martinez. Martinez’s body was discovered in Arizona on June 20th, 1988, two weeks after his wife had reported him missing. Emmons is now awaiting extradition to San Bernardino County where he will be tried for Martinez’s death.

GREEN BAY - A 62-year-old De Pere main faces extradition to California to face charges in a 34-year-old cold case in Fontana, California. Kelvin Emmons was taken into custody on March 15, according to Brown County Jail records and the Fontana Police Department, and is expected to be extradited to face charges in the murder of Angel Martinez on June 8, 1988.
