Broncos Could Trade for Former First-Round Pick From NFC North
The Denver Broncos have one of the NFL’s great players in cornerback Patrick Surtain II — what they’ve failed to do is put someone at the other cornerback spot who might be able to take some pressure off the two-time Pro Bowler. That could all change with...

Packers Regression to the Mean: Goal-to-Go Situations
One of the most impressive statistics put up by the 2023 Green Bay Packers concerns their goal-to-go offense, as you can see here in this post from Tyler Brickner. Scoring a touchdown on 95% of your goal-to-go opportunities is frankly amazing! The median scored around 71% or 72% of the time, and the second-best teams topped out at 83%. And I’m not even sure the percentage really does the Packers justice, because the underlying numbers on this statistic had the Packers scoring touchdowns on 19 of 20 opportunities!

Inbox: The Packers wanted options and certainly got 'em
Back to Doug from Onalaska about the nickel and safety groups. I see it as the same approach the Packers have used with their "best five" O-linemen. With an absolute all-star like "X" on the field, he can move into the slot (injury replacement or dime package) if we like how our backup safety plays over how our backup corners play on the outside. Do either of you see it like this too or am I making it up?
