Texas man pleads guilty to $319,000 armored car theft in Missouri
A man from Texas on Thursday admitted stealing $319,000 from an armored car at an Overland, Missouri shopping center in 2022. On June 16, 2022, Malik Johnson broke into an armored truck that was parked at the Overland Plaza shopping center while the driver was picking up cash from a retailer there. Johnson grabbed three bags that contained a total of $319,179 and then took the money to his home in the Houston suburbs.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Eastbound Missouri Route 370 was shut down in north St. Louis County following a tractor-trailer crash. The truck could be seen from a Missouri Department of Transportation camera sideways, blocking all lanes of traffic. As of 7:15 p.m., the crash was cleared.
Man sent to prison for 2020 murder in Tower Grove South
ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) -- A man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 2020 murder of a woman in the Tower Grove South neighborhood. Brandon M. Langston, 33, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, first-degree assault, unlawful gun possession, burglary, and two counts of armed criminal action. He was set to go to trial this week but pleaded guilty in exchange for a reduced murder charge.

Police responded to a call for a shooting at the 4600 block of Kossuth at around 6:40 p.m. Friday when they found a 13-year-old boy who had been shot in the arm. The boy said he was near the intersection of Lee and Dryden when he heard a gunshot and then a pain in his left arm; he believes the gunshot came from a black SUV that he had seen at the time of the shooting.
