Easton Will Welcome a New PreK-6 Principal
EASTON, Maine (WAGM) - The Easton School Department is getting ready to welcome a new leader at Easton Elementary School. Earlier this year, the district was searching for someone to fill a combined Superintendent and Elementary School Principal role after Richard Lyons, who had stepped into both positions, announced plans to leave when his contract ended June 30th. Since then, Lyons has extended his contract through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, so the district is no longer looking to fill that co-leadership role. Instead, school officials say Jenna Lombard will become the new principal for Pre-K through 6th grade. An open house to welcome Lombard is set for Thursday, May 14, at 6 p.m. at Easton Elementary School.
