PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Following what has been a mild start to the official start of spring, that remained the pattern throughout the month of April. Quite a few days throughout the month were spent with above average temperatures. We even had a long stretch of above average highs positioned towards the start of the month. That amounts to 19 days spent with above average temperatures and only 10 days with below average temperatures. Only one day was spent with a temperature considered the average high for the month of April.
Some Areas of Sun Possible Late, Shower Chances Lasting into Weekend
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good Thursday morning everyone! After some pop up showers and downpours late yesterday afternoon and evening, we are waking up to some steady showers across the county. However, that has worked in our favor in terms of temperatures this morning. Some spots are even touching close to the 60 degree mark. The steady showers have been associated with a stalled out front situated over the state. Because it is slow moving, it will keep shower chances in the forecast between now and the start of the weekend.
