RSU39 to Hold Consolidation Meeting Tonight
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Tonight,. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the UMPI Campus Center and will give community members the opportunity to learn more about the proposal, ask questions, and take part in the discussion about the future of these schools and their students. The three school districts jointly applied for a grant through the Maine Department of Education to support a single regional 9-through-16 school, including both the Caribou and Presque Isle technology centers. The second part of the Department of Education’s application for consolidation funding is due by October 31st this year.
