Jayson Werth’s Kentucky Derby Outfit, New Look Generating Buzz at Churchill Downs

Former MLB All-Star Jayson Werth is on the grounds at Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby this Saturday afternoon.

Werth, 44, isn't just a former MLB star and World Series champion in Louisville today, however. He's also the owner of one of the competing horses, Dornoch.

He took a few moments to speak with NBC ahead of the action on Saturday.

Werth's electric Kentucky Derby outfit is generating quite the buzz on social media this Saturday afternoon.

"Jayson Werth is a Total Badass! Hollywood are you seeing this! Dude's ready to be the next Clint Eastwood," one fan said.

"Jayson Werth looks happy, relaxed and enjoying himself. He also looks like someone about to release a new album :)" Dave writes.

"Jayson Werth just became the coolest retired MLB Player of all time," Coby posted.

Werth's final MLB season came back in 2017 with the Washington Nationals.

It seems he was able to find a new sport in retirement.
