Fans Are in Agreement About Las Vegas' Historic Decision on Aces Players

The Las Vegas Aces are undoubtedly the WNBA's best team.

They've won two consecutive WNBA Championships, and are returning all five starters to their roster this season. Therefore, they're favorites to produce a three-peat.

And although the Aces franchise only moved to Las Vegas in 2018, they've quickly become a beacon of success within the Sin City.

Yet, considering the deficient pay that WNBA players receive as part of their annual salaries, Las Vegas Aces players have not been getting paid in accordance with what their city makes.

Although we learned on Friday that that's about to change.

On Friday afternoon, it was announced that the city of Las Vegas will be sponsoring every player on the Aces roster.

What does this mean? Well, the city is giving each player $100,000 this season, so long as they, "just play, and keep repping the city of Las Vegas."

All fans agree about how cool of a decision this is by the city.

"We truly are the greatest sports city in the world... bravo!" one fan wrote on X.

"This is how you LEAN IN!!! Love this" wrote another.

Now the Aces have more incentive to produce Las Vegas with another WNBA title.
