LAFAYETTE, La. (KADN) — Jeanerette city officials said four streets will be closed starting May 13 for resurfacing. They added the streets scheduled for resurfacing are:. Jennifer Ann Street from Martin Luther King Drive to Rue La Rebecca Ann. Cypremort Street from Martin Luther King Drive to Dead End.
Slow-moving Storms Could Cause Flood Concerns Today
Storms have developed along the coast this morning with more storms back into Texas. This will lead to a fairly wet day around Acadiana with the potential for flooding in parts of the area as storms will be slow-moving. Highs only reach around 80 degrees. Tonight, rain ends as temperatures settle near 70.
