New Grosse Tete pedestrian ferry opens with new operating hours
IBERVILLE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - A new 18-person pedestrian ferry boat is now in operation to help people cross the Port Allen Lock. According to Iberville Parish Government, a crew worked late last night to install the new walkway on the barge for the new Grosse Tete Pedestrian Ferry to be open for Wednesday morning, July 24. In addition to a new vessel, officials released a list of updated operating hours.
