Michigan State softball finishes season with sweep of Purdue
WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – Michigan State softball ended its 2024 campaign on a high note Sunday, earning a series sweep over Purdue with a 2-1 victory at Bittinger Stadium. It’s the first B1G series sweep for the Spartans since 2018 (vs. Rutgers, April 27-29, 2018). MSU finishes the season 21-30 (7-16 B1G) while Purdue drops to 25-26 (11-12 B1G). The Spartans wrap up the 2024 campaign on a five-game winning streak and record the most conference victories by the program since 2018.
