Slate Valley UUSD officials prepare for fourth budget vote
BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - The school year may be winding down, but school budget season is still in full swing for 20 districts across the state. Slate Valley Unified Union School District voters will hit the polls again on Thursday to decide on the $30.8 million budget. The district is keeping the budget the same as the one that was shot down last in hopes of getting a higher turnout from those who haven’t voted yet.

SUNY Plattsburgh Center for Canadian Studies to be displaced as Clinton Community College moves onto campus
Canadian Studies and the Institute for Quebec Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh has been welcoming dignitaries from across the U.S. and Canada to its on-campus home for decades. But the department will be relocated to an undetermined site as a result of Clinton Community College’s move to co-locate on the campus.
