While Allen might be most well-known for his influence in landing the University of Vermont in Burlington, he also at one point in time, owned virtually all of Colchester. Community backs fundraising effort to develop treatment for child's rare disorder
COLCHESTER, Vt. — A Colchester family working tirelessly to fundraise for a medical treatment for their child is getting a boost from local businesses. Four-and-a-half-year-old Henry Saladino was born with a very rare genetic condition known as AHC, for alternating hemiplegia of childhood. BOSTON – The America East Conference announced Friday morning that the University of Vermont's student-athletes secured the athletic department's record 10th Walter Harrison Academic Cup. The Walter Harrison Academic Cup is presented each season by the conference to the institution with the best cumulative GPA among its student-athletes competing in league sports.
