Adrian's season unravels in district finals loss to Divine Child, Week 11 playoffs roundup
DEARBORN — Luke Bruggeman’s jersey told the story. The royal blue No. 7 on the back of his jersey was practically illegible, with the lettering and a significant portion of the fabric ripped loose. Bruggeman’s undershirt didn’t fare much better as a sizeable hole tore through the fabric on the upper half of his left sleeve. The jersey was battered. So were the Maples. Adrian wrapped up its 2026 season Friday night with a 49-14 loss to Divine Child in the MHSAA Division 4 district finals. The reigning state champion Falcons put the game out of reach early and took a 42-0 lead into halftime.
