SALISBURY, Md.– Salisbury University defeated Christopher Newport in a final score of 15-4 on Saturday afternoon to win the C2C championship. CNU would be the ones to get on the board first but that would be the only goal they would score until the 4th period. The Lady Gulls would go on to score 15 straight goals to take a 14 goal lead on the Captains.

Laurel man arrested for resisting arrest
LAUREL, Del. – Laurel Police have charged a man with resisting arrest for a second time. At around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, an officer on patrol was conducting a property check of the Hollybrook Apartments due to the high crime rate in the area. The officer observed a man walking on Grazing Court, who caught the officer’s attention by his reported deliberate attempts to avoid detection by the officer and covering his face entirely with a hooded sweatshirt. The man then walked between buildings to get away from the officer.
Seaford Man Charged with Hitting Probation and Parole Vehicle, Fleeing
Seaford, DE - The Seaford Police Department is actively searching for a man who they say struck a Probation and Parole vehicle as he sped away from authorities Thursday. Police say on May 2nd, officers were called to the area of Bridgeville Highway and Dutton Ave to assist Probation and Parole Officers. Probation and Parole Officers were attempting to contact Gerald Watkins, 51, of Seaford, regarding a breach of release warrant, according to authorities. When officers located Watkins in a stopped car, they began exiting their vehicle when Watkins sped off, striking their vehicle in the process, according to Seaford Police.

Delmarva Christian would have a hard time stopping the Eagles offense as they would add on 3 more runs to make 6-0. The Royals would plate one run off a bases loaded walk.
