SALISBURY, MD-There was a fire at the Island Club Apartments this morning in Salisbury. Multiple fire departments responded to 1520 Sharen Drive, including Salisbury, Delmar and Pittsville. A WBOC photographer was on the scene and says about 10 firetrucks were there. The fire has been extinguished. However, no other details have been provided.

SEAFORD, DE - The Seaford Police Department has announced the arrest of two people following a shots fired incident at an apartment while children were home. Seaford Police say they were first dispatched to N. Shipley St. after a caller reported yelling and a gun shot from an upstairs apartment. The caller, according to police, reported damage to their ceiling and believed it had been caused by a bullet.

SEAFORD, DE - Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware has announced a $1 million dollar contribution to TidalHealth Nanticoke and its graduate medical education. TidalHealth says a portion of the funds received will be used to purchase a surgical robot console for TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. The training consoles will be used by resident physicians and their proctors in the General Surgery Residency program. Additionally, the grant will support the construction of on call rooms.
