CLARKSTOWN, NY – On Tuesday, at approximately 7:15 pm, the Clarkstown Police Department responded to a fatal two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Rt. 59 and Broome Blvd., Central Nyack. A gray Audi A6, driven by Corey Womack, 24, from New Jersey, collided with a black Ford Edge driven by an adult female. Witnesses reported the Audi moving erratically prior to the collision. The impact propelled both vehicles into the Hub Shopping Center. The female driver of the Ford was transported to Montefiore Nyack hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. Police need our help after a young woman was killed in a gruesome accident. The Clarkstown Police Department is looking for witnesses and any video following a fatal crash. On Tuesday, May 30, at approximately 7:15 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department responded to an accident involving two vehicles in the area of Route 59 and Broome Blvd in Central Nyack.

Police say an investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to contact them.

MILLBURN, N.J. -- One of the suspects accused of attacking a postal worker in Millburn, N.J. has been arrested. Police said Zachary Lyttle, of New City, N.Y., is facing robbery charges. Police said Lyttle, 24, and a second suspect, who was still on the run Friday, chased the postal worker and pushed him to the ground outside a home in Millburn in May. Police said the suspects got away with a key that's used to open boxes at apartment buildings.

Rockland County legislators toured the new County Highway Department depot in Chestnut Ridge Thursday afternoon.
