Fatality occurs near Bear Creek
HALEYVILLE — A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. Friday, May 3, has claimed the life of a Haleyville man. Joshua H. Cosby, 35, was critically injured when the 1999 Toyota Tacoma he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. Cosby was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. Cosby was transported to Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
