Fairfield Police Arrest Paterson Resident on Shoplifting Charges
FAIRFIELD, NJ -- Fairfield police arrested a Paterson man on shoplifting charges on Monday. Police apprehended Gary Davis, 67. Officers were dispatched to the Target store at 2:31 p.m. Monday on a report of a shoplifter in custody. Officers Ryan Cleary and John Seragusa arrived at the store and located Davis being detained by security.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Davis allegedly arrived at the store, placed miscellaneous items in a shopping cart, and attempted to exit the store without paying. He was stopped prior to exiting by security and detained until police arrival. The total value shoplifted was $525.34.
