Speeding driver charged with manslaughter in crash that killed new mom, officials say
A New Jersey man who authorities allege was speeding when he caused a head-on crash in Atlantic County that killed a new mother has been charged with manslaughter. Karina E. Castillo was driving her car west on on Black Horse Pike in Hamilton at 2:15 p.m. on April 3 when it “made contact” with an SUV driven by Stephen Sirch, officials said. The contact forced Castillo’s car into the eastbound lanes, where her car collided with an oncoming vehicle, officials said.
