School Bus Stolen In Newark Found In Virginia
On Friday, May 17, 2024, at approximately 9:50 a.m., the New Castle County Division of Police was notified of the theft of an unoccupied, unattended yellow school bus from the unit block of Marrows Road. The bus, identified by the signage “Rohan’s Bus Service Inc” and numbered 850, also displayed Delaware license plate C65296. Its last known position was at the Brookside Shopping Center.

Physicians file to unionize to address understaffing, corporatization at ChristianaCare
Over 400 physicians at ChristianaCare have filed to become the first physician-led union in Delaware. The group outlined four major issues it hoped to address in the announcement of the filing: patient safety concerns due to understaffing; professional autonomy and decision-making power; "threat of corporate influence" on medical decision-making; and the "moral injury" caused by a lack of administrative support.

Firefighter injured, family of four safe after mobile home catches fire in Springfield Township
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A firefighter was taken to the hospital after help put out a massive fire at a mobile home in Springfield Township early Tuesday. Springfield fire crews responded to the scene of a double-wide trailer engulfed in flames around 3:30 a.m. at Woodside Terrace off of Angola Road.
