Investigators say that on May 24, 2023, at approximately 1 PM, the West Chester Police received a report of a discovered burglary that occurred sometime overnight at a residence on the 100 block of E Union St. Several items were taken from the residence. Police Investigating Fatal Accident In Greenville
Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred late yesterday morning in the Wilmington area. Officials said on May 31, 2023, at approximately 10:30 a.m., a 2002 International attenuator truck was traveling southbound on Kennett Pike south of Buck Road in the left lane of travel. At the time, a 2006 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound on Kennett Pike, north of Briars Lane approaching the intersection of Buck Road. For unknown reasons, the Ford crossed over the median and entered into the left southbound lane of Kennett Pike and had a head-on collision with the International attenuator truck police said.

Chester Man Arrested for DUI
No seatbelt and driving drunk lands a Chester man in the hospital Tuesday evening. Sean Mccurdy was driving his Ram truck at excessive speeds on Warner Valley Road when he lost control of his truck, causing it to roll multiple times and crash. CHP arrived on the scene and noticed Mccurdy not wearing a seatbelt and with signs that he was under the influence of alcohol. McCurdy was arrested for reckless drunk driving, and due to his injuries from his crash, The California Highway Patrol had Mccurdy flown to Enloe Medical Center to be treated.
