A Streamwood man is in custody after having been arrested for an alleged shooting incident in Elgin in late January. On January 26th at 4:04pm, Elgin police officers responded to the 0-99 block of South Jackson Street in Elgin for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that shots fired had occurred.

Urbana, IL – On Saturday night, Urbana Police Department officers arrested 40-year-old Amber Krak from McHenry County for her involvement in a stolen vehicle case. Krak was reportedly found in possession of the keys to a vehicle reported stolen, located in the 1600 block of Harding at approximately 8:15 PM. During the investigation, an alleged accomplice of Krak was observed reportedly attempting to swap the vehicle’s license plates with those from another car.
