Blaze Ravages South Farmingdale Home: Arson Bomb Squad on the Case!
The Arson Bomb Squad reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 2:50 p.m. in South Farmingdale. According to Detectives, Officers responded to a 911 call for heavy smoke at a West Oak Street residence. Upon arrival, officers observed a fire on the first floor. All occupants were out of the residence prior to police arrival. The South Farmingdale Fire Department along with the East Farmingdale, Bethpage, and North Massapequa Fire Departments responded and extinguished the flames. Approximately 50 firefighters were on scene. No injuries were reported. The building suffered moderate structural damage along with variant degrees of smoke, fire, and water damage.
