Coroner’s office identifies pedestrian killed at busy Rockford intersection
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office reveals the identity of a pedestrian hit and killed Tuesday night at one of Rockford’s busiest intersections. Tyra Traylor, 47, was walking in the intersection of E. State Street and Perryville Road around 8:15 p.m. when she was hit by a vehicle, according to investigators. The Winnebago County Coroner’s Office says the driver of the vehicle stopped and called 911.

Female pedestrian killed in crash on Rockford east side
A female pedestrian was killed Tuesday evening after being struck at East State Street and Perryville Road. East bound lanes of traffic were closed for several hours as officers investigated.
