Rockford Public Libray Celebrates Adult Online High School Graduates
The Rockford Public Library is gearing up to celebrate graduates from their Adult Online High School program. The graduation will take place on Wednesday, June 19th. This year they’ll will be celebrating 47 graduates. Bridget Finn, Director of Marketing, says nearly all of the graduates have children at home and by completing the program, it shows the children the value of education. Each graduate will receive a scholarship funded by donations from individuals, private businesses, and groups in our community. If you’re interested in learning about the library’s Adult Online High School program, they will have a regular Wednesday intake at the New Main Library in the Maker Lab after its opening.

Rockford University announces two online certificate programs
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Rockford University announces two new online professional certificate programs: Women in Leadership and Customer Experience. Both programs can be completed online in eight weeks or less and are a part of Rockford University’s newest college: the College of Professional and Extended Learning. The programs also offer in-person sessions led by expert instructors.

Teams from Washington to Massachusetts to Alabama converged in northern Illinois on a sunny but windy Friday for pool play preceding bracket play and the crowning of the champions tomorrow. All four top seeds remain undefeated at the end of the day despite upsets in the lower seeds.
