Rockford metro area adds 400 jobs in March
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Rockford’s job market saw improvement in March, according to the Illinois Department of Employment Security. An IDES report released Thursday shows Rockford added 400 jobs in March 2024, with unemployment rates decreasing about 0.5% compared to March 2023. Unemployment rates also went down in Boone and Winnebago Counties, with Belvidere seeing the most significant change year-to-year.
