ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - As May days go, it’s just about impossible to imagine one much nicer than the one we’ve just enjoyed. Thanks to bright sunshine dominating from start to finish, temperatures reached the 80° mark in Rockford for the third time in 2024! Unfortunately, the break from the active weather pattern is only temporary, as we’re tracking yet another round of showers and thunderstorms set to arrive in our area overnight into early Thursday.
