    Here's who will lead 11 Corpus Christi elementary schools next year

    Corpus Christi ISD announced 11 new elementary school leaders for the upcoming school year.

    The schools who will have new principals include Allen Elementary School, Cullen Place Elementary School, Fannin Elementary School, Garcia Elementary School, Sam Houston Elementary School, Smith Elementary School, Jones Elementary School, Travis Elementary School, Faye Webb Elementary School, Yeager Elementary School and Zavala Elementary School.

    The new leaders include principals who are moving to new campuses, as well as assistant principals who are moving up.

    Allen Elementary School's new principal will be Celeste Fernandez. Fernandez currently serves as principal of Sam Houston Elementary School, where she previously served as an assistant principal as well. Allen Elementary School's current principal is moving to Sam Houston Elementary School.

    Cullen Place Elementary School will be led by Jennifer Brady. Brady currently serves as an assistant principal at Veterans Memorial High School. She previously served as an assistant principal at Kolda Elementary School.

    Fannin Elementary School will be led by Bryanna Jackson. Jackson is currently interim principal at Zavala Elementary School. She previously served as assistant principal at Crockett Elementary School. Fannin's current principal is moving to Baker Middle School.

    Garcia Elementary School will be led by Sonia Vega. Vega currently serves as an assistant principal at Tom Browne Middle School. Garcia Elementary School's current principal is moving to Haas Middle School.

    Sam Houston Elementary School will be led by Jennifer Allen-Perez. Perez currently leads Allen Elementary School. She previously served as an assistant principal at Oak Park Elementary School.

    Jones Elementary School will be led by Amy Pina. Pina is currently an assistant principal at Jones Elementary School.

    Smith Elementary School will be led by Lauren Stinson. Stinson currently serves as an assistant principal at Metro Elementary School of Design. She has previously served as an assistant principal at Baker Middle School.

    Travis Elementary School will be led by Yvonne Salinas. Salinas currently serves as an administrator of academics and accountability at Carroll High School. Travis Elementary School's current principal is moving to Yeager Elementary School.

    Faye Webb Elementary School will be led by Joshua Auzenne. Auzenne is currently an assistant principal at Veterans Memorial High School.

    Yeager Elementary School will be led by Stacy Mitchan. Mitchan is currently principal at Travis Elementary School. She previously served as an assistant principal at Zavala, Hicks and Evans elementary schools.

    Zavala Elementary School will be led by Zonia Lopez. Lopez has served as the Corpus Christi ISD special programs director and previously led Sam Houston Elementary School and Kolda Elementary School.

    In March, the district also previously announced that current Fannin Elementary School principal Sarah Owen will be principal of Baker Middle School and current Garcia Elementary School principal Danny Noyola, Jr. will be principal of Haas Middle School.
