Stormy Thursday Then Strong Cold Fronts Bring the Best Fall Air Yet to Louisiana and Mississippi Including Shreveport, Jackson, and Baton Rouge
GULF SOUTH — The seasons are finally changing across Louisiana, Mississippi, and nearby areas, with a stormy setup expected late next week around Thursday. Once that active weather moves through, multiple cold fronts are forecast to follow, delivering a significant drop in humidity. The incoming air mass could bring some of the best-feeling weather of the season so far, arriving just in time for the start of October.

AGGIE TRAVELCAST: No weather woes headed to Louisiana
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - We expect no real issues (beyond the heat) for Ags making the trip along I-10 to Baton Rouge over the next several days. A big weather pattern shift is looming for next week, but this weekend looks a LOT like what we saw last weekend, if not a touch cooler. For Baton Rouge tailgaters, you’ll still want to mix in a water quite often - highs will reach the low 90s. For whatever on-field advantage a night kick gives the Tigers, at least Ags won’t be sweating nearly as much as the past couple Saturdays.
