Bethlehem man dies while tubing in the Lehigh River
A Bethlehem man died Saturday afternoon while tubing in the Lehigh River in Carbon County, according to a news release. Chad Mumbauer, 44, was tubing in the Lehigh River near the Delaware and Lehigh Heritage Corridor in Parryville, Carbon County, according to a news release from Carbon County Deputy Coroner Jason Nicholas.

Former Pa. state Rep. Frank W. Yandrisevits dies
NORTHAMPTON, Pa. - A former Pennsylvania state representative and a resident of Northampton County has died. Attorney Frank W. Yandrisevits, 69, of Northampton, died on Monday, May 20, according to his obituary. He served as a state representative in the Pennsylvania Legislature from 1984 to 1990 and 1992 to 1994.

Bethlehem, Pa. — A Bethlehem casino was fined and three gamblers were banned from Pennsylvania casinos after the state's gaming board met and meted out the penalties during a May 24 public meeting. Wind Creek Bethlehem incurred a $125,000 fine for 10 incidents in which underage individuals gained access to the gaming floor at its casino.
