    Burlington police searching for arson suspect after 2 mobile home fires

    BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — Burlington police are asking for the public’s help finding an arson suspect.

    Around 12:30 p.m. on May 3, the Burlington Police Department responded to two mobile home fires on Maple Avenue with members of the Burlington Fire Department, according to a BPD news release.

    ‘Unnerving’: Man arrested after indecent exposures in Greensboro neighborhood

    Firefighters extinguished the fire, and there were no injuries reported.

    Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, detectives with the BPD began an investigation.

    Jose Oscar Santiago-Dimas, 45, of Burlington, was identified as the suspect.

    Police are searching for Santiago-Dimas who is wanted for two counts of first-degree arson and one count of burning personal property.
