Local longtime teacher resigns amid allegations into relationship with student
DEFIANCE, Ohio (WTVG) - A local high school teacher has resigned from his position after the district opened an investigation into allegations of possible misconduct. According to the Superintendent of Defiance City Schools, Robert Morton, a concerned parent came to the high school on Friday to talk to school officials about a teacher. The district opened an investigation and the longtime teacher submitted his resignation, citing personal reasons. He was escorted out of the building.
