Queen Cindy Meglish Smart was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. She has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments for several months. Her last treatment was this past week so she was feeling well enough to join her Euchre partner, King Dick Gasser for the crowning. Dick is a good friend of Cindy’s and to support her hair loss due to the treatments he agreed to wear a wig for the crowning. Cindy and Dick have become close friends here at Antwerp Manor. They truly care about each other.
