Delphi murders suspect’s attorneys ask to continue hearings set for next week
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Defense attorneys for the man accused in the high-profile Delphi murders case requested Thursday to continue hearings set for next week. The hearings are set for motions regarding the admissibility of evidence of Richard Allen confessing to the murders of Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, in February 2017, as well as communications between the defendant and his state-appointed psychologist.
Baseball Recap: Edgerton wins going away against Antwerp
Edgerton came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Antwerp Archers as they made off with an 8-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Edgerton also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.

Each month Paulding Junior High School teachers select one Positive Panther per grade level. These students are recognized for the positive character traits they exhibit as students of Paulding Junior High School. Butterfly Release at Ann’s Bright Beginnings
Ann’s Bright Beginnings preschoolers recently ordered caterpillars from California. We watched them grow and grow and GROW until they formed a chrysalis. They then emerged into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. On a beautiful spring day, we were able to have a butterfly release. Some of the butterflies allowed us to hold them before they flew away to freedom. What an awesome experience! Are you needing summer care for your child? Paulding & Wayne Trace Split Paulding County Track Meet victory
The Paulding County Track meet took place On May 6, hosted by Paulding High School with Antwerp, Paulding, and Wayne Trace participating. In the boys division the Raiders came out on top with a score of 90, Paulding second with 57.5 and Antwerp followed with 26.5 points. Boys discus was topped by Foltz with 151’6” of WT, followed by Stouffer of WT with 144’8” and third was Woods from Paulding at 140’8”.
