LIMA — A new program through the city will focus on helping community members during the winter months. The “Snowbusters” program is looking for volunteers and those in need to register online. Once the snow comes, elder adults and community members can register to have snow removed from their driveway. The city is also looking for volunteers to shovel the snow.

Lima receives new updates to media equipment
LIMA — The city of Lima is getting an update on its media equipment. For over 25 years, the city has utilized the same monitors and sound system for their GTV-Lima Channel. Public Information Officer Jessica Begonia announced the update at the mayor’s press conference. In addition to new equipment, the channel will feature new coverage of the mayor visiting different departments.
AMHA gains new executive director
LIMA — The Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority welcomed a new executive director. The board members re-introduced Tiffany Wright to the community at Wednesday morning’s mayor’s press conference. Wright has served the organization for almost 24 years. She hopes to continue to influence change in this new role.
