Paulson Stadium field to be re-named after generous donation from Evans Family
The home of Georgia Southern football will be renamed Allen E. Paulson Stadium at Evans Family Field in recognition of a transformational gift commitment from the Evans family, pending approval from the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. Bethany hosting breakfast for first responders on Friday
The Bethany Community will host a free "come and go" breakfast for all local first responders this Friday, May 24, 2024 from 7:30am-9:30am. Chick-fil-A, Uncle Shug's, Cool Beanz, and Three Tree Coffee Roasters will be donating chicken biscuits and coffee for Bethany's Cottage residents to pass out as first responders come through. The breakfast will take place in the Bethany Community Commons Building at 353 Gesmon Neville Lane. Reminder: Bulloch Solutions annual meeting is Thursday afternoon
Join Bulloch Solutions for their 2024 Annual Meeting Thursday, May 23rd, at 1pm at Connection Church, located at 1342 Cawana Road in Statesboro. All Co-Op members should make plans to attend. Registration for the Annual Meeting will begin promptly at noon and will close at 1pm. Annual Meeting attendance is imperative for continued success of Bulloch Telephone Co-Op. Why does a Telephone Cooperative Meeting matter to me? Member attendance at the Annual Meeting matters for a number of reasons, but primarily for the continued operation of the cooperative in general. Members and guests will hear an update on the progress of the Co-Op. Presentations include reports on the financial statements from the year prior, highlights from plans on what’s ahead for the company, and successes and challenges from the last year. And perhaps most importantly, Bulloch Solutions employs locals and invests back into the community. Plus, there will be a host of prizes for those who attend. For starters, the attendees will receive a one-time $50 credit on their monthly bill. Among the other prizes up for grabs are gift cards from local restaurants and businesses and a $500 cash prize!
