Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders Goes Viral For Opening For Lil Wayne

Saturday in Boulder, Colorado was a massive spectacle for the second year in a row, as Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes had their spring game.

Despite the harsh weather, there were still over 20,000 fans in attendance and they were treated to a unique performance by rap sensation Lil Wayne after the game. The music mogul has spent quite a bit of time around the program over the past couple of years since Sanders was hired, and on Saturday had another member of the Sanders family open for him.

According to one social media post, it was the first time that Shedeur Sanders has performed his song "Perfect Timing."

While his music certainly seemed to get he crowd going, Sanders is even better on the gridiron. He returns as arguably the best quarterback in college football, and currently has the best odds of being the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

This past season in his first year at the FBS level, Sanders threw for 3,230 yards with 27 touchdowns to three interceptions. He is looking to continue helping his father turn around Colorado after they went 4-8 in year one.
