BEULAVILLE — This coffee truck created by Keren Reinford gives every visitor a boost of energy from both caffeine and her welcoming smile.

Early into our interview, Reinford admitted that she is not the biggest fan of coffee. That didn’t stop her from pursuing her God-given talent for spreading love through her inviting personality and delicious beverages.

The 23 year old founder of Brewed Process LLC situates her coffee truck six days a week on the Hershey’s Automotive lot on 2936 NC-24 in Beulaville.

With a hand selected and designed menu of anything from specialty coffee drinks to smoothies and more — Brewed Process is everything you would hope for in a coffee shop and it can be put on wheels.

Opening in February of 2022, the company came together with support from Reinford’s family. “My family has been there all the way. It has definitely been a gathering together of many forces,” she said.

Expanding into weddings and events, you mostly will find the coffee truck stationary at Hershey’s during operating hours but the team hopes to grow by catering their beverages at private events.

She designed the drink menu along with suggestions from employees and customers. “One we’re coming out with this summer will be called Angel’s Bliss,” said Reinford, inspired by a customer named Angel.

Lotus drinks and kickers are available that are more similar to a refresher style drink, that can include your flavor with club soda over ice. I ordered a coffee drink called The Ultimate which is a butterscotch and vanilla flavored specialty latte. I couldn’t put it down during my car ride after my visit. It was the best!

“I guess I started because I felt like that’s where God was leading me next.” Reinford exalted with purpose from her calling. “What I do is faith based. If I do something, it’s because I’m a Christian. It’s because I’m following God. So I guess the coffee shop has been a journey for me in learning to be a Christian and learning how to live for Him,” she said.

Reinford remarked on the spirit that led to her starting her business, “it’s beyond yourself, it’s not about me,” she said.

Pull into the Hershey’s parking lot and get yourself a coffee to start your day. You may even find a deeper calling and the bottom of your cup if you are ready to receive it.
