BERWICK, Pa. — At West Berwick Elementary School in Columbia County, Mrs. Terdiman's second-grade class is still receiving Valentine's Day goodies from all over the world. Terdiman got the idea for the "We Love the World" project from a Facebook group for second-grade teachers across the world called '2nd Grade Smiles'.

On Wednesday, Anthony Dion Shaw, 47, was sentenced to life in prison for first-degree murder for killing Cindy Lou Ashton in her Wilkes-Barre Township residence back in May 2018.
