One flown to hospital after motorcycle crash in Columbia County
MIFFLINVILLE, Pa. — One man is in the hospital after a crash Sunday afternoon in Columbia County. According to police, a motorcyclist from Saugerties, New York, was traveling west on 3rd Street in Mifflinville just after 3 p.m. when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck another vehicle.
PSP: Driver drunk in crash
Bloomsburg, Pa. — A driver who crashed along Route 339 in Mainville was drunk, police say. Troopers were called to Mountain Road in Main Township on April 29 for reports of a single-vehicle crash. After arriving on scene, Trp. Ryan Golla determined the driver, 54-year-old Tresa Andino of Bloomsburg, was under the influence of alcohol, reports say. Andino was taken to the Columbia County DUI Booking Center for a chemical test, Golla said.

Child safety seat check slated for Tuesday
Milton, Pa. — The state police at Milton are holding a child passenger safety seat check tomorrow at the barracks. The safety seat check is part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's "National Child Safety Week." Parents are encouraged to have their seats already installed prior to coming to the event, which will take place from 2-6 p.m. at the barracks, 50 Lawton Lane, Milton. Herndon, Pa. — Police say someone stole a 55-inch Vizio television from a home in Herndon. The victim reported the theft occurred sometime between May 1 and May 10 from their home at the 200 block of North Main Street, according to state police at Stonington.
