Monte Ne's sunken resort history lives on at Rogers Historical Museum
TheRogers Historical Museum has an exhibit on Monte Ne, the resort William "Coin" Harvey founded in 1900 about 5 miles southeast of Rogers, Arkansas. Much of the resort has been under Beaver Lake since the 1960s, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers took down its last standing tower in 2023 because it was dangerous.

Days of band concerts in the bandstand will be revived on Sunday, Oct. 18
For the first time in more than 70 years, a community band will soon be playing in the bandstand in Memorial Park. Reviving the Past is the name of the concert, which will be presented by the Heartland Concert Band in collaboration with the Webb City Area Genealogical Society at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18.
