Pinconning man accused of pointing gun at Ludington hotel guests
LUDINGTON, Mich. (WJRT) - A Pinconning man is accused of threatening guests at a hotel on the west side of the state, leading to a partial evacuation and felony charges. The Mason County Sheriff's Office says deputies and Michigan State Police troopers responded the Comfort Inn on U.S. 10 in Ludington around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a man who pointed a gun at two other guests.
Drunkenly shooting wife nets Bay County man prison time
BAY CITY, MI — A Bangor Township man convicted of drunkenly shooting his wife will serve time in prison. Bay County Circuit Judge Jessie Scott Wood on April 22 sentenced 55-year-old Robert W. Woodard to 19 months to 15 years in prison, giving him credit for 182 days already served. Wood also ordered Woodard to pay $3,782 in restitution and court fines and costs.
